North Beach Stamopolu

Stamopolu is the name of the entire bay and the marsh behind the beach, which is an extremely protected natural site with protected plant and animal species. Perla Beach Primorsko

The pearl in the crown of all beaches is undoubtedly Pearl Beach near Primorsko. Geographically, this is the northern part of the northern beach of the city, which is located about 3 km from the city center and is the quietest beach with the finest sand found on the Bankan peninsula, and the sandy beaches are gently embraced by wild forests from which fresh water descends and clean air. This beach is a key venue for sports and music events. Every summer, the unique for Bulgaria international triathlon competition, international off-road races, as well as various music festivals and beach parties take place here.

Our recommendations.

The beach is extremely popular outside the borders of Bulgaria. There are almost never even small waves here, and the exoticism that the beach will give you resembles one of the most exotic places in the world. Right here 50 years ago, it was not by chance that the ruling Communist Party at the time decided to build a summer residence for its leader - Todor Zhivkov. That's exactly what this beautiful white building on the seashore is - Residence Perla. For many years the beach itself and the area around the residence have been forbidden to visit, but we are happy now that we can invite you to visit this unearthly beauty. This is also the place in my Primorsko borders with wild nature. If you like to walk along the wild shores, or ride a bike, undoubtedly in the area behind the pearl beach you will find incredible views. Whoever came here once returns every next summer.

If you walk 300 meters east on the road, you will reach a small and rocky bay called the Crocodile, a favorite spot of divers from all over Europe. There is also the only underwater chapel of its kind. If you are fond of diving and snorkeling, this area is extremely rich in finds and a diverse underwater world.

Maslen nos

Our recommendations.

Maslen nos is suitable for day adventures, picnics, diving, beachcombing and sports. There you can enjoy the feeling of being cut off from civilization, like a lonely island. The territories around Cape Oil are a reserve and all human activities are prohibited. The roads leading to it start from the Perla residence area and are difficult to pass. It is possible to get there by high-passable jeep, bicycle, on foot, or by boats that often depart from the port of Primorsko.

Maslen Nos (Olive Cape)

Maslen nos is mystical and distant about 5 km from Primorsko. Apart from being difficult to access, Maslen Nos will leave a unique memory of the symbiosis between humans and wildlife. This place has been shrouded in mystery for centuries. At the bottom near the oil cape lie ships and commercial boats that in the past carried olive oil from the southern parts of the Ottoman Empire up to Eastern and Northern Europe. It is the frequent shipwrecks that gave this cape its name. This area is great for diving

Enjoy the abundance of wildlife and places untouched by human interference. On your way you will encounter incredible views of pristine bays and small beaches. The seal cave is also very close to Maslen nos, but it can only be visited by boat and only if the weather is calm. Arkutino Beach

Arcutino beach is said to be the most romantic beach in the world. There you will find your personal space, the peace and quiet you need. Arkutino Beach is the most distant beach within the borders of the Municipality of Primorsko and it is located in the north on the border with the neighboring municipality of Sozopol. When traveling to Primorsko, your path will pass through the Arcutino beach area and then through the wild course of the Ropotamo River.

Our recommendations.

Arcutino Beach undoubtedly brings great romance. The beach is suitable for visiting throughout the day, and the most affordable method to get there is if you have your own car or taxi. There are good conditions for paid and free parking, and the distance to Primorsko is only about 10 km or 10 minutes by car. The beach has both a large free area and a paid area with its restaurants and beach bars. We are sure that you will spend great days there.

10.0 km from Primorsko

#BONUS

When you are close to Arcutino beach, you may come across quite interesting sights. Look around and notice a huge sand hill just behind the beach. This is the largest sand dune on the Bankan Peninsula. So much sand in one place...maybe more than on the beaches in all of Greece. Behind the small port of Arkutino beach is one of the few islands in the Black Sea - Snake Island.
And if you decide to see something different from sea sights, at a distance of
about 300 meters from the seashore there is an exotic swamp where water lilies grow, unique to Europe. One beach and so many things to see. And not only that... On the way from Primorsko to Arkutino, the road will pass by the Ropotamo river... look to the right towards the rocky heights and in a moment you will see the lion's head, an indisputable rock phenomenon without human intervention.

Ropotamo Beach

Ropotamo Beach

If there is a paradise in this world, it is certainly located a few kilometers from Primorsko. The mouth of the Ropotamo River is an incredible place full of exoticism and tranquility. This place is completely uninhabited due to the fact that it is located in the Ropotamo Reserve. All human activities other than visits for a short time are prohibited in order to preserve this amazing nature. From the beach of Ropotamo there are views of Arkutino, the snake island, Cape Saint Thomas and the incredible Bulgarian coast.

Our recommendations.

Ropotamo beach is definitely a difficult place, but we will share with you a few secrets that will be useful if you want to visit it. From Residence Perla there is a road with signs for begliktash. The road is paved and pleasant for driving or cycling. After 4 km. you will reach a barrier from which you must continue on foot or by bike. The distance from the barrier to the beach is about 1 km. Have a good time.

*The beach at the mouth of the Ropotamo River is a protected area and is located in a national reserve. There are rules for residence          and    passage. Please seek further information and inform yourself. The area is only accessible on foot or by bike.
